After spending 12 years in a garden club, always camera in hand, it occured to me that other's might enjoy a slice of Southern California gardening life. Join me for area garden tours, garden stores, and local blooms. Hopefully this will color your world beautiful, as it does mine.
I've included monthly gardening tips from my gardening mentor, Florence Sullivan, who has recently passed away, but left a lifetime (95 1/2 years) of gardening experince behind by way of her book, "A Calendar for Growing Flowers in Coastal Southern California. (with permission of her daughter)

Your photos are absolutely amazing. I am so new at this, you inspire me to learn and grow, just like your beautiful flowers.
Thank you.

I really love this photo! Chippy paint, pink rose, great composition - everything is just perfect!
